Need a fix-it guy?

The caption behind this van caught our attention this morning.

This is not a recommendation as the wife and I have yet to engage their service. But if you are looking for someone to "take on the small stuff" (home repair-wise), you may wanna give these guys a call.

And we will appreciate your feedback after...

  1. OK, the wife called our Mr. FixiT for a plumbing problem yesterday and was told that the earliest appointment that we can get is sometime next week! We ended up giving the job to another plumber instead.

So the judgement is still out on their service quality and charges but they definitely seemed to be popular. And those who need a "quick fix" may have to look for someone else...

  2. Hi, want to check with you. How much did Coolserve charge you for a chemical wash and will they dismantle the unit to wash thoroughly?

    Thanks.

  3. Hi Darren,

We cannot quite recall how much we paid for our last chemical wash as it was done many years back. As such, we cannot help you with this.

But what we realized is that if you service your aircons regularly, there is little need for chemical wash.

And speaking of Coolserve, the wife and I have been with them for quite a few years. We typically sign an annual contract with them and they come to service our aircons every quarter. And we have been very pleased with their service and response time so far, even for the odd emergencies when we need them to come outside of the contracted schedule. Cost-wise, they are probably not to cheapest but not exorbitant either.

    Hope the above helps!
