Photos we took of RV Point

The wife and I were in the Mohamed Sultan Road vicinity today and we happened to notice RV Point, a 999-year leasehold project developed by Galaxy Land Pte Ltd - a subsidiary of Oxley Holdings.

Oxley Holdings, as most of you may already know, is a boutique developer that mainly specializes in small-format (aka shoebox) developments.

Scheduled to top in 2014, it looked like RV Point is coming up quite nicely.

One of the first things that struck us was the tiny strip of balcony outside each apartment. While we have always been quite vocal with our dislike for large balconies, the ones we saw at RV Point have really taken things to the other extreme. The wife and I reckoned that the balcony is only suitable for two purposes - sunning your laundry or for smoking.
Then we noticed this tiniest of room in a corner unit of the development. The entire square-shaped space looked no more than 1.5m by 1.5m by our visual estimate. The wife and I spent the next few minutes trying to decide if this is indeed a bedroom. And if so, the owners will probably have to install vertical bed!

On reaching home, the wife and I did a search on the project's floor plan and it turned out that the room is actually a Study. Even so, it still look a tad "tight" for someone to work/study inside. Then again, that's just us... Emoji

And in case your wondering, all 36 units at RV Point were fully sold.
