More New Projects coming our way.....

We read in The Business Times yesterday that more new property rollouts can be expected in the near future, as developers had gotten off to a good start this year by selling well over 1,000 private homes in January.

New projects to watch include:

Preview is expected to open later this week. CENTENNIA SUITES sits on the former Kim Seng Plaza site, diagonally opposite to Great World City. The average price for this District 9 Freehold project is being touted at $2000psf or higher.

CENTENNIA SUITES comprises a single 36-Storey tower with just 97 units. These include two, three and four-bedroom apartments as well as two penthouses.

The two bedders are slightly over 1200sqft (huge, by current market standards), three bedders are around 1800sqft and four bedders are about 2250sqft. The two penthouses are 3300 and 4400sqft respectively.

This is a 608-units condo project located at Yishun Ave 1 and 2. MCL may release some units for sale before the Chinese New Year.

According to preliminary information that the wife and I have managed to get our hands on, THE ESTUARY is a 99-years Leasehold projected sited on approximately 290,000sqft of land area. It consists of 7 Blocks of 15 - 17 storeys each, which are built on elevated ground with unobstructed reservoir view. This development in District 27 is also supposedly minutes walk to Khatib MRT Station.

The typical unit sizes are said to be
• 1-Bedroom: 592 -603sqft
• 2-Bedrooms: 904 - 926sqft
• 2+Study: 1119sqft
• 3-Bedrooms: 1184 – 1302sqft
• 4-Bedrooms: 1453 – 1528sqft

We are unable to get pricing details but some analysts are expecting THE ESTUARY to start selling at $800psf or slight above - which, if true, is crazy price for a leasehold condo in Yishun... in our humble opinion anyway.

So two more to add to our "Projects To View" list....Happy days yet!
